*The Practicum is offered in both fall and winter to accommodate all students. This course is application based and only those already approved through the FSSH Practicum team are able to enrol in this course.

** Both Independent Study and Honours Thesis require application and a minimum 3.7 grade point average (GPA) to enrol.

***Integrated Project involves an independent, student-driven project in an area of the students choosing, with a methodology of their choosing. 

Special Topics in Criminology focuses on a specific substantive area related to the instructor's area of expertise. It also requires an independent writing project, but one that is specific to the content.

If you do not plan to pursue a specialization and wish to remain in the Comprehensive program, you will follow the Comprehensive registration maps. If you would like to declare a specialization, please see academic advising, as there are forms to be completed for your specialization to be official.
