Forensic Psychology Bridge program maps

Post-Bridge program

Registration for the 2018-2019 academic year will begin in June. A preview schedule is currently available for viewing. The following is the program map for Year 4 of the Forensic Psychology Post-Bridge program. If you are entering Year 3 you will have received an individualized program map to your UOITnet email account. Please contact if you have not received this information.

Year 4

    • Forensic Psychology Elective or
    • SSCI 4098U – Practicum (fall or winter)
      • Note: This SSCI 4098U requires a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher and approval through a pre-application process.
    • One of:
      • SSCI 4102U – Honours Thesis II or
      • Forensic Psychology elective*
    • Four FSSH electives
    • Two general electives

  • PSYC 3055U – Treatment in Forensic Settings (fall)
  • PSYC 3310U – Confessions and Interrogations (winter)
  • PSYC 3500U – Stereotypes and Prejudice (fall)
  • PSYC 3060U – Personality Psychology (winter)
  • PSYC 3320U – Eyewitness Psychology (fall)
  • PSYC 3999U – Special Topics in Forensic Psychology I (fall or winter)
    • Note: students may take more than one section of PSYC 3999U provided the topics are different.
  • PSYC 3100U – Directed Lab Research (fall or winter)
    • Note: Requires application and minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.
  • PSYC 4820U – Selected Topics in Antisociality (winter)
  • PSYC 4999U – Special Topics in Forensic Psychology II (fall)

FSSH electives

FSSH electives are any courses offered by the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities (e.g. COMM, CRMN, LGLS, POSC, PSYC, SSCI prefixes and INDG 2000U).
