Dean Peter Stoett announces Toronto Expert Group Communiqué on Environmental Security and Transnational Environmental Crime

In January 2019, FSSH Dean Peter Stoett, PhD, invited a group of top experts in international environmental crime to gather for a two-day workshop at the Canadian Institute For Advanced Research (CIFAR). A comprehensive communiqué was recently released; it outlines the need for collaborative actives to approach the nexus between transnational environmental crime and environmental security. FSSH graduate student receives SWAAC Student Award in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Kaitlin Fredericks, a PhD student in the FSSH Criminology and Social Justice program, recently received the 2019 SWAAC Student Award in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. The award recognizes a university or college student who advances equity, diversity and inclusion within and/or outside their institution through dedication or community outreach and activism.
